Hello and welcome to my website.

My name is William Haviland, and I am a pianist/composer and Musicnotes Signature Artist. I studied Classical Music in London, but since then have strayed a little from the confines of the score. My musical heroes include Chopin, Ravel, Elton John, Paul Simon, and John Williams.

My early tuition was at the Blackheath Conservatoire, and subsequently I accepted an offer to read Music at King’s College London. Since graduation, I have worked as a teacher, performer, and recording artist.

I am also an avid YouTuber, mostly of pop covers and classical reworkings for solo piano. A selection of my sheet music can be downloaded here, or via the Musicnotes website. I would be delighted if you would follow me on Spotify, if that is your preferred streaming method.

In March 2021, I began an ambient/chill side project, called Freddie's Fridge. Please be most welcome to take a listen, and follow Freddie if you enjoy the track(s). I will be releasing new material as time goes by. Additionally, I started a weekly piano podcast in October 2024, entitled Piano Key A to G - do take a listen and follow on the podcasting site of your choice.
